WP Templates
With some good WordPress themes, you can find some different templates for different kinds of pages.
Inside "Twenty Ten", created by the WordPress team, available with the arrival of WordPress 3.0, we can find two templates: "Default Template" (with side bar), and "One Column, no side bar".
If we learn how to create new templates, we can easily add some special ones into the themes we need. For example, we may need to create a template that can serving landing page (with few menus and one focus for the visitor to sign up), and one template with two side bars, or just one side bar on the left, etc.
We are going to make some of these themes available to download soon.
Sometimes, some people also casually refer to WordPress templates as WordPress theme, but that can cause some WordPress users.
